Like A Cozy Hug

ThirdLove certainly lives up to their motto, "The best bra is one you never think about." It's possible to have comfort and aesthetics at the same time. As a follow-up to our Brablems post (a great reference to troubleshoot common issues with bras), we've picked out ours to test out. They just arrived, and now it's time to unwrap our treats!

Nude is as classic as it gets and this bra definitely lives up to an everyday appeal. I found the bra supportive, yet barely there during my duration of wear. This is definitely a winner for those who enjoy a comfy bra while running errands or lounging around the house feeling sans-bra.  The pleated straps adds the extra finishing for a sturdy hold while the light weight memory foam is plush and provides the coverage necessary to avoid spillage. Overall, this bra strikes the perfect balance of lift yet delivers a soft and supple hold next to the skin. Though the price point is steeper than most t-shirt bras in the market, this one is definitely an investment you won't regret.

It's been a while since I last treated myself to a new bra, so it was a delight for me to try out a different brand. The 24/7 Lace Balconette Bra had an array of colours to choose from. While my first choice would have been Blue Hydrangea (if it was still available in my size), I opted for Dark Berry. I wore it around for a day, and I didn't feel underwire digging into my skin. If anything, I didn't even pay notice to it. Rarely do bras feel like a hug! The satin nude straps suited my skin tone well. Usually nude-toned bras flare too peach for me. Shiny gold hardware was the icing on the cake for what was a very pretty and very comfy bra. I also liked that both the hangtag and enclosed card laid out detailed care instructions to prolong the garment.

Your Jacket is the Bomb

Looking for a new way to freshen up my wardrobe for the new season, I couldn't help but be attracted to what seems to be the must have piece for everyone at the moment. Bomber jackets.

Bomber jackets are a real big hit this season across several retailers and have almost become a staple piece for everyone's wardrobe. I already own a varsity style jacket which some of you may say is quite similar. However unlike my varsity jacket that I wear as a coat, I was looking for a bomber that would serve the same purpose as a blazer. After being on the look out for a couple of months I decided on this lovely burgundy bomber from Dynamite. The versatility of this jacket is perfect for my "in progress" capsule wardrobe - looks great with jeans and a tee, leggings and a tank, and even a casual dress!
